My name is Jakob and I thrive to capture weddings in the most authentic, visually interesting way possible. I'm here to tell your story from my artistic perspective. My images are about people in some of the most moving, significant and overwhelming moments of their lives. To transport how these moments feel - which emotions, thoughts or scents made the moment unforgettable.

My approach is quite simple. Most of the day you will barely notice me trying to capture raw moments of your wedding party in an unobtrusive fashion. At the same time I am here to guide you, help you and fullfill your vision together. Couples have described my vibe as pleasant, comfortable, cheerful and courteous. I love to mix unposed images for pure and unique scenes with some editorial ideas when you feel like telling another side of your love story. While I portray weddings in digital color I very deliberately make use of black & white to transport a feeling of timelessness. 

In the end you receive a series of images that don't just document what "happened", but help to relive these moments again and again for the rest of your lives. After all during some of the darker hours of a marriage these highlights can be the key to remember and retrieve the love, joy and connection that made you fall in love.

Availability and pricing - Seasons 2024 and 2025

Every year I am capturing only a selected few weddings in Austria and Europe in order to not compromise on quality and service. Bookings for 2024 are now open. For 2025 you can pre-note your date with a final confirmation possible latest by January 2024.

While some couples prefer to hire a photographer only for parts of the wedding day I strongly believe in the power and coherence of telling the story of a wedding in full. Therefore I am available for 6 hours and upwards, while I recommend 8 hours and up for most weddings. Since every wedding is unique (just like you) - I will gladly send you a personalized offer after a first (online) meeting in which you tell me about you, your plans and your budget. As a guiding point my wedding services for 2024 start at around 2.300€.
